The contract aimed to provide support to the European Commission in sharing and disseminating knowledge, best practices and lessons learnt related to EU water legislation and water management to third countries and/or other international partners, as well as in monitoring and implementing tasks stemming from multiple strands of water cooperation activities (at multilateral, regional or bilateral level). The project supported partnerships with China, India, Brazil, South Africa, Iran, the Union for the Mediterranean, and other international processes.
