Jasmin Clare

Jasmin Clare joined Fresh Thoughts Consulting in January 2024. She primarily works on Climate Change Adaptation at local, regional and national levels in urban and rural areas in the EU. Collecting local and regional climate change adaptation actions, analysing policy frameworks together with water and circular economy solutions, as well as database management belong to her core tasks.

Jasmin holds a master’s degree in conservation and landscape planning from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), which she completed in 2023. Her master’s thesis addressed so-called “Pro-Biodiversity Businesses” involved in alpine pasture management, preserving unique mountain landscapes through their business activities. An expert qualitative survey allowed to derive local management recommendations for maintaining alpine pasture management in the respective region.

During her master’s degree Jasmin did a traineeship at the Institute for Regional Development of EURAC Research in Bolzano, Italy, as part of the human-environmental interactions research group. Whilst gaining an insight into various tasks related to research and project work, she was involved in several projects the institute was working on and discovered her passion for research.

Jasmin completed her bachelor’s degree in landscape planning and landscape architecture at BOKU University.

Besides being interested in environmental topics and ways to solve nowadays’ challenges, Jasmin is a qualified ski instructor and enjoys outdoor activities.
