Ms. Matauschek is the event manager at Fresh-Thoughts. She is involved in developing the Fresh-Thoughts Events team with the aim to provide various foras where policy and scientific research can meet.
From November 2010 to September 2011, she played a leading role in setting up the MBA Centre Vienna, organising language courses for businesses-English as well as capacity building workshops on US and Austrian culture. She was further responsible for the organisation of cultural events for US-interns.
From January 2009 to November 2010, Michaela Matauschek served as the Office Manager at Ecologic Institute’s Vienna office and additionally supported the Ecologic Events Team. A native German speaker, she is fluent in English and has basic knowledge of French.
Before starting at Ecologic Institute, Michaela was employed in the hotel and banking sector.
From 2012 to 2015 she studied the MBA programme “Sports- and Eventsmanagement” at the Danube University in Krems, with the focus on “Green events” and use of “New Media Tools” at Events. Before that Michaela Matauschek studied Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Austria), where she focussed on marketing and market research. Michaela Matauschek has extended experience in the organization of courses, seminars, study visits and congresses.
