The integration of environmental and climate change considerations into all areas of EU development cooperation is a priority. In line with the European Green Deal, DG INTPA seeks to systematically integrate environment, sustainability and climate change into all sectors of EU development cooperation, including programmes/actions, policy dialogues and investments. Developing the capacities of INTPA/NEAR/EEAS’s staff is key to this effort. Several series of webinars on “Greening EU Cooperation (Environment and Climate Change)” have been developed since 2020. In October 2022, the webinar “Transboundary Water Management” was held, with FT providing the non-key Senior Expert (Lead Senior Expert on Water) to prepare and conduct the webinar.
