She brings extensive experience in quality assurance of complex technical deliverables and strategic reviews, financing strategies, and adaptation policy and planning frameworks. Her expertise comprises development, review and evaluation, and quality assurance of adaptation strategies and plans, national and regional climate policies, and tailored climate-resilient planning. At Fresh-Thoughts Consulting, she supports the development and revision of National Adaptation Strategies and capacity-building initiatives that enable effective, evidence-based climate action.
Sabine’s career spans leadership and advisory roles with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the European Commission, the European Environment Agency and regional organizations across Europe, East Africa, South America, and Asia.
