Conceptual design and content support for the BMUV Agricultural Congresses 2024-2026

The BMUV Agricultural Congress has been held annually since 2017 in the run-up to the International Green Week in mid-January. Within the framework of the congress, the BMUV has put various politically topical priority issues up for discussion in recent years. The wide range of participants is made up of scientists, (agricultural) practitioners, professional representatives, politicians and civil society. The congress is also planned for the next three years.

The aim of this project is to provide conceptual support for the preparation and follow-up of the next three agricultural congresses (2024, 2025, 2026).

It is important to highlight current and potential problem areas in the agricultural sector regarding environmental protection and nature conservation, as well as to address current (socio-)political issues. Another aim is to set the tone for environmental and agricultural policy in Germany and the EU.

The result of the respective agricultural congress is a contribution to a comprehensive understanding of problems and issues. The congress should also deliver products that can subsequently be used profitably by non-participants. This includes a comprehensive presentation of the topic, which has not yet been seen at an event (opening up new perspectives), by processing the conference contents in a report.
