Fresh Thoughts was carrying out the central project evaluation of the project “Sustainable management of biodiversity in the Southern Caucasus (PN 2015.2101.2)”, following OECD-DAC criteria. The project which has been in place since 2015 aimed for improving the management of biodiversity and ecosystem services, coordinated across various sectors, with a specific focus on forestry and pastures. It covered Armenia (with pilots in the regions of Aragatsotn, Shirak and Sisian, and in a number of state forest enterprises), Azerbaijan (Ismayilli and Shamekhe) and Georgia.
