Nexus Assessment in South East Europe

The study aimed to identify the management of natural resources regarding the Nexus (i.e. water, energy, land and environment), the interlinkages and potential benefits, trade-offs, governance and conflicts between the Nexus sectors in each country (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia) and in the SEE2020 region. It also aimed to briefly assess the level and status of cooperation for managing the transboundary basins in the SEE2020 region.

The activities performed included: Organisation of work, Collection of information and data, Development of country reports and Development of an overview study.
