Public participation in the National Water Strategy

Public participation in the National Water Strategy

With the Citizens’ Dialogue on the National Water Strategy, the Federal Ministry for the Environment opened up parts of the strategy for discussion with randomly selected citizens from all over Germany. While the National Water Strategy focuses primarily on technical issues, the Citizens’ Dialogue should offer another perspective, namely the “lifeworld perspective”. Selected measures or actions from the water strategy were jointly reflected on and discussed against the background of the citizens’ perspective.

For this purpose, Fresh Thoughts cooperated with team Ewen, the IKU, and the Bamberg Centre for Empirical Studies (BACES).
