REGILIENCE+ supports EU regions and communities to adapt smarter, faster and more systemically. Despite ongoing efforts, Mission signatories still face major hurdles, above all, a lack of knowledge identified by 72 % across countries and region types. Building on three years of coordination experience and contributions to the Mission Portal (including tools and funding databases) from REGILIENCE, REGILIENCE+ will deliver improved knowledge via 150 solutions – case studies, adaptation options and tools – and 70 multilingual communication products, services and activities. Envisaged outcomes include sustained inclusion of inventory updates in mainstream platforms (preferably Climate-ADAPT and the Mission Portal) and active use by MIP4Adapt, national organisations and hubs, and regional and local authorities, with procedures that persist beyond the project. The intended impact is wider access to actionable solutions and their replication across Europe.
Fresh Thoughts serves as Technical/Scientific Project Coordinator (WP1) and leads WP2 to establish cooperation procedures with Climate-ADAPT/MIP4Adapt, Mission projects, and institutions such as JRC, EIB and EBRD, avoiding duplication and ensuring relevance. FT co-leads WP3 T3.1 to define the inventory structure, identify, analyse, classify and package solutions for platforms and policy feedback, and leads T4.4 to develop policy briefs that bring the consolidated knowledge to EU policymakers.
