In 2016, Iran and the EU agreed to start cooperation on the environment and adaptation to climate change.
Under this frame, Fresh-Thoughts Consulting was requested to: Develop a roadmap for cooperation on water and marine issues covering biodiversity conservation; Technically coordinate a workshop with Iranian authorities; Interact with Iranian stakeholders to identify strengths and weaknesses of water management authorities and possible approaches to address these issues through EU-Iran cooperation; Draft an action plan; Prepare a final report.
