In 2015, Luxembourg held the rotating Presidency of the European Union for the first six months. One of the main topics emphasized during the Presidency was the implementation of the EU Water Framework Directive.
Fresh Thoughts supported the Water Administration in preparing the groundwork for the Presidency by helping to develop the water resources management theme. To this end, Fresh Thoughts organized working group meetings to discuss the organisation and content of a conference on the Water Framework Directive.
