How can sport draw attention to the issue of sustainability? And what can sport do to be more sustainable and thus better meet its social responsibility?
In order to answer these questions, the theme of this year’s Sport Austria Summit was “Sustainability”. An expert conference was held under the title “Sustainable together into the future”, with over 100 participants from the Austrian sports scene. The aim was to define the potential of sport in Austria with its approximately 15,000 sports clubs. Managing director Thomas Dworak led a workshop on sustainable mobility and was participating in the plenary.
