The objective of this project was to create an action plan for a German food retailer, containing practical and market-oriented mitigation measures in a roadmap, including a timeline that encompasses short, mid, and long-term actions. The measures elaborated were intended to implement effective and efficient strategies at the farm, company, landscape, policy, and market levels. Although the focus for location-specific measures was on Spain, some measures were formulated generically so that they can be transferred to other countries and sites, relevant to the retailer. The work included literature research, interviews and a workshop to identify a set of mitigation measures and prepare communication materials.
