It could play an important role helping the EU scale up sustainable investment and implement the European green deal.
ACRP | Natural hazard protection faces the key challenge that not everyone living in a risk zone is threatened equally. Decisions on whom to protect often cause conflicts in resource allocation and distribution. JustFair develops policy guidance by (1) comparing international practice in addressing social justice issues in climate change adaptation and by (2) empirically identifying disadvantaged groups among households and small businesses, taking into account that individual resources and deficits need to be balanced against each other. Additionally, a comparison of the financial measures taken during the Covid-19 crisis in Austria with current regulations on disaster relief funds was carried out.

German Development Agency (GIZ), Germany | Within the contract, the results from the study “Potential of multi-purpose-use of the hydropower reservoirs of the Drin cascade in Albania” have been processed towards the staff of GIZ. This includes, above all, placing the results from the Drin/Albania case study in a broader context and drawing conclusions about transferability in the context of the water-energy-food security nexus. As a product, an article was written t in the form of a discussion paper as part of The GIZ internal discussion paper series on sustainable hydropower use.
